30 May : Nature Valley Grand Prix Qualifier Race
Should I bring sunscreen?
Yes, even though we will have some out, its always a good idea to have it your car.
Two numbers, what is up with that?
The number on your left is for the finish line, the number on your back is a CHP requirement. Please make sure that both numbers are visible.
Where is the Neutral Water Bottle Zone?
It's approx. 25 miles into the race, just past the Isabel Creek bridge. There will be a toss your empty area, just before the zone. Each water bottle is brand new, no recycled bottles from us. It's one per person.
Where is the Feed Zone?
Feed Zone is about 40 miles into the race, located at the Junction Cal Fire Station. If someone wants to be stationed there for you, they will have to leave San Jose before the Pro/Elite 1 field if they are driving up and over the Mt Hamilton. The better road for them to drive on is coming from Mines Road via Livermore & 680.
Will there be any Neutral Support at the Feed Zone?
Yes, but we have only a limited number of water bottles.
How do I get back to San Jose, have a shuttle service this year?
A majority of riders have someone pick them up, some even ride back. Shuttle services contacted said Yes to cyclists, No to the bicycles. Back to the drawing board.

Clothing Support
Pick up a bag from registration, write your Name & Number on it, place the clothes you want in it, then leave it at the start line. Look for the sign and SJBC Volunteer who will direct you where to place your bag. We will then transport your bag to the finish line.
Note: SAG wagons will not be carrying these bags since they are responsible for helping out riders along the course and may get delayed.
