We have plans to make this year’s event more successful than ever with a larger prize list to appeal to an even greater audience. Your involvement will help ensure that these goals are obtained.

On Sunday, May 30, 2010, the San Jose Bicycle Club (SJBC) will host the Mt Hamilton Classic. This is one of the most prestigious bicycle races in the country. It’s the only point-to-point race in Northern California. This beautiful, classic road course climbs 4,500 feet in 20 miles to the top of Mt. Hamilton, and then continues 43 miles through remote ranch lands to the finish in Livermore.

The Mt Hamilton Classic is a Nature Valley Grand Prix Qualifier Race for Elite 1 Men & Elite 1/Elite 2 Women. Nature Valley Pro Riders who are invited to compete in the Nature Valley Grand Prix earn free entries to the race, generous travel stipends, team clothing, housing, ground transportation, and staff support for their composite teams.

Clothing Support
Pick up a bag from registration, write your Name & Number on it, place the clothes you want in it, then leave it at the start line. Look for the sign and SJBC Volunteer who will direct you where to place your bag. We will then transport your bag to the finish line.

Note: SAG wagons will not be carrying these bags since they are responsible for helping out riders along the course and may get delayed.
